WAR WITH GERMANY PROBABLE. •PRESIDENT ADVISES REVOCATION OP NEUTRALITY. Renter Service. Received May 23, 5.5 p.m. Rio de Janeiro, May 22. The President, in a message to Congress, has recommended the revocation of the' decree of neutrality, on the ground that the. fact of the United States forming an integral part of the American union,"and that the traditional policy of Brazil has always been regulated by perfect unity with the United States, also in consideration of the wishes of the great majority of Brazilians. Router's correspondent adds that an immediate declaration of war with Germany is believed probable. CANADA. . 200,000 SINGLE ELIGIBLES. • Received May 23, 5.20 p.m. Ottawa, May 22. It is expected that the Conscription Bill will he introduced on Friday. It is estimated there are nearly 200,000 unmarried eligible? in the Dominion who are not engaged iu war work. * DOMINION'S PART. THE EFFICIENCY BOARD. LIQUOR ENQUIRY. Wellington, Last Night. The Efficiency Board is sitting at Wellington at present, and it is understood the hearing of the evidence on the liquor enquiry which the Board :» making will be completed next week. The BoanT •will probably present a report to the Government very soon after the evidence a complete. The board reported to the Government on ths horse racing question n month ago, at the conclusion of the last meeting'of the 'Board. SPAIN A GERMAN' APOLOGY Received May 23, 5,5 p.m. Madrid, May 22. Germany has apojogised for the,recent violation 1 of 'Spanish territorial waters, and promised to respect Spanish rights in future. '
