A FURTHER CONFERENCE. Zurich, May 17. Count Czernin goes to German headquarters on Sunday and continues his conversations with Herr von BethmannHolhveg, which were recently begun in Vienna. The Kaiser and Hindenburg will also participate. HOLLWEG RESTORED TO FAVOR. London, May 17. A Copenhagen correspondent states that Herr von Bethmann-Hollweg is firmly in the saddle again, having by his attitude refuted the suggestion that Germany is ready for peace. The correspondent asserts that the belief is general in Denmark that Germany is far from defeated, and is ready to fight to the uttermost before she will lay down her arms. | AN OFFICIAL REPORT. A wireless German official report states: Owing to strong English counter attacks we gave up ground captured at Roeux. We repulsed English attacks northward of the Scarpe and south-west cf Reincourt. During May we took 2300 English prisoners on this front. We advanced our line some hundreds of metres hear Vauxaillon. Eastward of Laffaux V.c captured an advanced position to the west, near Braye. During May we took 2700 French prisoners. We repulsed 1 trench attacks north an.l north-west of Monastir. GERMAN TORPEDOER SUNK. Receiyed May 18, 6.35 p.m. Amsterdam, May 17. A German torpedoer sank north of Schiermannikoog. It is unknown whether the torpedoer was mined or torpedoed. t
