At a well-attended meeting of tte Enginemen, Firemen and Cleaners' Association at Taumarunui on May 13. strong exception was taken by members to the action of the Railway Department tei taking a second ballot of employes after they had already been ballotted for muter the Military Service Act, arid considered that men should be cal'cd up in the order in which they wer* drawn in the Military Service ballot.
