DUNEDIN SESSIONS. By Telegraph. —Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. At the Supreme Court James Simpson and Peter Douglas were acquitted on a charge of stealing seed from a steamer. William Sliiel was convicted of manslaughter and recommended for mercy. He was sentenced to six months' imprisonment. Robert Steham was ssntenced to five years for having had improper relations with a girl between 12 and 10 years, and Archibald Duncan, a returned soldier, for indecent assault, was ordered to be detained for reformative treatment for a period not exceeding three years.
