"BLUE-BEARD." AT INGLEWOOD NEXT MONDAY. The residents of Inglewood and district will have the opportunity affordcl them of seeing one of t!u> brightest pantomime companies of recent years at theTown Hall on Monday evening. The company is now touring Taranaki, and wherever appearing has created the most favorable impressions. "Bluebeard" was staged at the Stratford Town Hall on Thursday evening, and the larg<: «.iidience quite relished the bill-of-fare provided. The piece abounds with tiuei'ul choruses, effective inarches, striking tableaux, etc. The pantomime hinges en the familiar story of childhood--the man of many wives a:u' the ro.im that must ever remain shut. The principals were all individually good. Miss Kathleen Mack, the principal "boy,'' was in good voice, and in one of her acts her costume, black and white, was very pleas ing. Miss Dani possesses a very attractive stage appearance, and a voice of sweet range, her solo "A Broken Doll" beifig one of the gems of the evening. The comedy element was largely in the Jiands cf Mr. Bob Lloyd, and he was ths source of continual merriment chirin? his possession of the stage. His tumbling work in connection with wireless telephone interpolation was decidedly clever. Mr. Joe Charles, as the sorcerer, was very mysterious. The scenery effects were quite in keeping with the piece, and very beautiful was the massive courtyard scene in the second act. A very ' strong orchestra accompanies the performances.
