An application for a trainer's license was held over for further consideration. The application of the Stratford Racing Club for January 1 and 2 as the dates of its meeting was approved. , The Stratford Club advised that Messrs. W. H. H. Young and C. Pitt had been elected as its delegates to tip District Committee. The Opunake Racing Club advised that Mr. A. Good had been appointed its delegate, and that it had also nominated Mr. R. H. Nolan as representative on the Racing Conference. * TARANAKI JOCKEY CLUB. A meeting of the Taranaki Jockey Club was held subsequently. The chairman reported that the Esrr.ont Racing Club would be willing tn discuss the question of putting forward the autumn meeting one week, as the club's fixture was coming back each year closer to Christmas, and it was resolved to write the club stating that the Committee would be prepared to consider the question of putting forward its February dates and would bo pleased to meet representatives of the Hawera Club to go into the matter, A committee was set up to report on the question of revising the club's rules. Two new members were elected. Other business of a routine nature was also transacted.
