DISTRICT MEWS.
I-EPPERTON. (From Our Own Correspondent,., I regret to report that Mr. Tom Openchaw, who had a fall from his motor bicycle last Sunday evening, is still in a critical condition, in the New Plymouth hospital, not yet having recovered consciousness. Nothing definite is known of the accident, which occurred about 11 p.m. on Sunday. The young fellow was not found till next morning. Miss Ruby Dick, who tost her arm through 'a fall from a horse recently, is making an excellent recovery.
Mrs. Wright, senr., received a cable on Monday last informing her that her son. Private A. Wright, «ds in hospital at VYalton-on-Thames, suffering from trench fever. '-Alex's" many friends in this district will wish, him'a speedy recovery.
