WARMLY APPRECIATED BY THE KING. ' London, March 3. The King has congratulated Field Marshal Sir Douglas Bafg on the Army's splendid work and the steady, persistent pressure in forcing the enemy from quite carefully prepared and strongly fortified positions. The succsscs are a fitting sequel to the fine achievements on the Somme and a great credit to tliose responsible for drawing up the plans of campaign. Sir Douglas warmly acknowledged his Majesty's generous commendations. '
