WESTERN ATTACK.
THE NEXT OFFENSIVE. WILL GERMANS ANTICIPATE ALLIES? Received Feb. 16, (U5 p.in, Paris, February 15. General Rawlinson, replying to a question from war correspondents as to whether the Germans would anticipate the Allies in the next offensive, said if it pleases Field-Marshal von Ilindenburg and his subordinates to ordain the vain massacre of thousands of men they are welcome. We would not complain. Everything is ready to receive them at any hour or place they choose. The collaboration of the Anglo-French armies is perfect and the French serve ns as an example. In closely imitating the French we are only doing our duty as soldiers.
