SUBMARINE DRIVEN OFF.
ENEMY ATTACK FAILS. SUCCESSFUL OPERATIONS. Received Feb. 15, 5.5 p.m. London, Feb. 14. A Paris communique states: On Monday afternoon an enemy submarine fired six shots at the coast near the mouth of the Ardour. The coast, batteries replied and the submarine disappeared. Five were wounded, but there was little damage otherwise. An enemy attack on the sector Baccarat-Lorraine failed. We carried ouJ. a successful coup-de-main east of Metzeral, in Alsace. German aeroplanes bombed Dunkirk and, the' region of Pompey, MeurtEe and' Moselle. Two civilians vers killed. < r '-.
