WELLINGTON SESSIONS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. At the Supreme Court, Clara Alice Ross, James Ross, and James Gibbons were charged with the robbery of £3 10.-, from an Italian named Billlone Gavino, in a house of ill-fame. Gavino visited the house with some compatriots. The others left, and he grew alarmed at hearing the accused talking about the possibility of bis havi® money. They assaulted him. The" female accused kntO' on his chest and asked one of the others to pass a knife. A bread knife was handed over and she ran this along Gavino's throat. Eventually ha struggled free and escaped, being seriously injured. He found that he had been robbed of £3 10s.. The jury returned a verdict of guilty in respect of the assault and causing bodily harm, | Mi. Justice Chapman remarkedthat all the accused had bad records, and eack was sentenced to three years' hard labor.
