THE POWER OF HUNGER. ANTI-ROYALIST DEMONSTRAh TIONS. THE KAISER FAILS CONSTANTINE. Received Jan. 30, 8.20 p.m. London, January 30. The Daily Chronicle's Athens correspondent reports that the censorship holds up all but colorless news. It is evident that the blockade is being severely felt. 'Disturbances have occurred at I'atras, where breadles dcmnostrators raided the cafes, smashed the King's portrait, and cried: "Long live the Entente and Venizelos!" '"Down with the tyrants!" The so-called blockade bread, which contains only SO per cent, of white flour, is in general use, even in the Royal household, and business is at a standstill. No European mail has been received since November. It is definitely stated that the Kaiser advised King C'onstantine to acoept the Allies' ultimatum, as Germany was unable to despatch a force to aid Greece. ALLIED FLAGS SALUTED. Received Jan. 30, 11.20 p.m. Athens, January 30. The ceremony of saluting the Allied llags was carried out on Monday afternoon. RESERVISTS' LEAGUES TO BB DISSOLVED. Received Jan. .'!0, 11.20 p.m. I'aris, January 30. The Greek Foreign Minister announces that the judicial'autliorities have been ordered to dissolve the reservists' leagues, the member* of which have already Deen disarmed. A GENERAL PUNISHED. I'aris, Jan. 2fl A telegram from the Athens Minister of Foreign Affairs intimated the dismissal of General C'ollaris, commander of the First Army Corps, during the events of December 1 and 2.
