Subject to necessary alterations, mails will close at the Chief Post Office, New I'lvmouth, as under:— For "Wellington and South, daily, at 6.15 a.m. and 12.20 p.m. For Wangamii and intermediate offices, daily, at 0.15 a.m., 12.20 and 3.55 p.m. For Auckland and North, per.steamer, Tuesday and Friday, at 7 p.m. Mails for United Kingdqm, Continent of Europe. North, South and Central America, South Sea Islands, Fiji, Tonga, Samoa, Ttarotongu, Tahiti, Honolulu and all places beyond Australia will be despatched as opportunity offers by first available steamer. The public are requested to post their correspondence and not wait for notification of times and dates of closing mails for places beyond Australia, which will not be given.
