The Company bus sheep and rattle in view to keep .Tin butchers occupied for several weeks, and as time pioeeeds, the supplies are expected to I increase. The splendid arrangements [provided for the handling of tiic animals from the time they are driven to th- Company's pens until their carcases jf-re nady to be placed m cold Murage were in evidence. Every facility is offered the butchers, the Oovcrmnent inspector, and the men deiling with the by-products in carrying on their work. The use to which gravitation and water are put is an interesting feature of the arrangements. A visit to the works wl.cn they are in operation is a most irstructive experience.
