AN INTERIM PAYMENT By Telegraph.—Press Association Wellington, Last Night. The Hon. W. D. S. MaeDonuhl, Minister of Agriculture, stated to-day regarding the butter position, that the licensing authority, Mr. Triggs, was now in a position to make an interim payment of twopence per pound, by way of compensation to those factories supplying butter to the local market.
