Negotiations between Mr. Hughes and Mr. Cook for the formation of a National Party are still incomplete, and probably nothing definite will be done till after the meeting of the Liberal Party called for next week. It is rumored that Mr. Hughes barreceived an intimation that liis presence in London, now that the peace proposals have been rejected, is not such a matter of urgency as was considered a few days ago.
