Jane Turnbull, widow of the late Mr. John Turnbull, the "father ol Morrinsvillil/' who arrived in the Dominion in I'BG3; Mr. S. .Snell, another old Morrinsville resident, Who was formerly 111 the railway service; and Mrs. Ellen Slicpliard Tripp, of Canterbury, third daughter of Bishop Harper, and mother of Mr. L. 0. 11. Tripp, solicitor, of Wellington. A London cable announces the death of Mr. Harry Hai'dnsl Marks, editor and chief proprietor of the FinLUCiRI News. He was born in 1555, and had a liberal education.
