EXTENSIVE DAMAGE TO GROCERY STORES. By Telegraph.—l'res# Association. Auckland, Dec. "N A fire occurred early this mornin,, in the shop of Smectons, Lt(J.. Quccii Street, (loins damage to the extent of several thousand pounds. A large <;tock of groceries was more or less damaged. The fire, which originated in the jleetric lift well, burned through four floors, portion of each of which collapsed.
