Refugees at Salonika from Athens give terrible accounts of the Greek disorders, tr.ey estimate that 150 Venizelists were loiled .during the massacre, which was characterised by systematic attacks and p-isceutions. It is reported that King Constantino's aide-de-camp had ten pro' Vcnizqlist soldiers. A Greek deputy, perceiving his mother and sister.leaving a dangerous neighborhood, pointed them cut as Venizelists and left them to the fury of the Royalist mob. SUCCESSFUL ROUMANIAN COUN-TER-ATTACK. London, Dec. 11. A Russian communique says:—The enemy pressed back the Roumanian 1 ; along the high road from Plbesti to Mizeon, but the Roumanians counterattacked and restored the positions. The tattle'is proceeding. The enemy attack at Kirlibaba failed. The enemy is stubbornly resisting in the Valeoutna region and in tlie Trotus Valley. There is deep snow and frost on the whole mountain front.' A German communique says: —Tha Russians again strongly attacked in the wcoded Carpathians and on botli sides of the Trotus Pass without success. General von Mackcnscn's pursuing nrmy is finding resistance at some points. The communique speaks of heavy rain soaking the ground and also says that thRoumanians have destroyed the bridges GERMAN DIVISIONS FROM WEST. FRONT. Petrograd, Dec. 11. In order to prosecute the Roumanian campaign tlie Germans withdrew fifteen divisions from the western front and one frcm Macedonia. The armies of Generals von Mackonsen and Falkenhayn consisted of at least 20 army corps. a bulgamAnTrerort. London, Dec. 11. A Bulgarian communique says: —We, captured the town of Kalarash and the bridge-head on the left bank of the Danube, opposite Cernavoda. We repulsed attacks north-west of Monastir and in the Cerna bend, also British attacks south of Seres. VIOLENT INFANTRY ACTIONS." A Serbian communique states:—There have been violert local infantry actions, and a fairly large number of prisoners cptured.
