.LAST WEEK'S CASES By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Pensions Board last week dealt with Wo cases, whereof 2?3 were new claims, 98 applications for renewal of temporary pensions, 8i reviews of annual pensions, and eight special. Eleven soldier applicants were given permanent ■pensions and OS temporary allowances, and six were refused. One hundred and forty-three dependents were granted pensions, and eleven temporary allowances, twelve being refused, and three adjourned. Of the renewal of applications, US were continued, 23 determined, and seven converted into permanent pensions. Of the pensions reviewed, all ivcrc continued except one, which was adjourned for medical report. The pensions and allowances granted iast week involved a total annual liability of £10,009. The total granted to date is 3U21 soldiers' claims, and 1!)41 dependents nett, the annual charge on the State now reaching £20,1,023.
