INGLEWOOD.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) The following have enlisted and entrain on Monday for camp:—N.CO. If. Thomson, and J. Aisher. C. A. Cramer, S. Lowe, and A. R. Rowe. On Thursday a very pleasant function was held in the Town Hall, the occasion being a farewell to Corporal Hogg and Privates Olson, Julian, Laing, Mollov, Totroz.Miller, Drake, F.Hodges, Broadmore and J Hodges, who arc on final leave. The function took the form of a smoke concert, and there was a very large and representative attendance. His Worship the Mayor occupied the ehai.\ and after the toast of "The King" had been duly honored, he p-oposed the toast of "Our Guests" in a very neat little speech and presented each with a smoker's outfit. Corporal Hogg, Private* Olson. Julian, and Molloy responded on behalf of the boys who are leaving, and Lieut. Aidridge, Privates Nicholls, Payne and Bell on behalf of Ihe returned boys. Other toasts honored were: "Oui Boys at Ihe Front," proposed by Mr. Brown and responded to by Mr. Hainerton: ''The Nurses at the Front," Mr. Surrey, responded to by Lieut. Aldridge; "Those who are left at home," proposed by Mi. Winfield. responded to by Mr. Stevenson: and "The Ladies," proposed bv Mr. Openshaw, responded to by Corporal Hogg, Private Olson and Mr. Darlow. Songs were given during ths evening by Messrs Hynes, Darlow, Geddcs, Coldwell, dc Launay, and Paterson, and a reading by Mr. Frewin. A very pleasant evening was brought to a close by (he singing of "Auld Lang Syne" and the National Anthem. A confirmation service is to be hold at Inglowood on Sunday, November 10, at 2.30 p.m., by the Bishop of Auckland.
