THE AULSBACH CASE iustralian-N.Z. Cable Association. Melbourne, Oct. 17. The High Court, by a majority verdict, dismissed the application of the Welsbach Company. A "GO SLOW" STRIKE. Received Oct. 18, 12.50 a.m. London, Oct. 17. Owing to the dismissal of three Great Western Railway employees, who were convicted of stealing flour, two thousand goods yarders at Paddington have engaged in a "go slow" strike. The officials' assert that the men are only working at half pressure, and that the loss on freightage is estimated at over £OOOO daily. Food carriage lias been greatly prejudiced. There are some signs that the strike is spreading, men in other departments refusing to handle consignments. ' SALVAGED RUBBER. Received Oct. 17, 5.5 p.ir;. ! London, Oct. 10.
