SPLENDID RECRUITING RESULTS. SUCCESS OF WAR LOAN. Ottawa, October 5. 1 The recruits in Canada for September were 03,000, and the casualties 12,000. The total enlistments are 385.000. The war loan has been subscribed to such an extent that fifty millions subscribed by banks has been refused, and preference given to smaller investors. COMMERCE WAR STARTED.
