The tVest Coast lessees held a meeting last week to discuss the question of procuring the freehold, also valuation matters. The meeting was called for the personal attendance of all tenure-holders. Mr. S. Turner arrived here to-day after his "night out" on the mountain, and certainly looked jaded from the exposure. It is said the constant thought in his mind when cutting the ice steps was whether he would miss the Oaonui Dairy Company meeting, when all the other buyers were wooing the directors fof the company's output. He did miss the meeting, but the firm he represented procured the consignment of the output. It was a lucky thing he had a four hours' interview with tlie directors some days prior. The Oaonui directors refused an offer for the output of the season's cheese at 9%d, the majority of the directors adhering to the principle that consignment was in accord with co-operative ideals. At the Opua annual meeting of directors Mr. T. If. H. Sinelaim was appointed chairman. board of directors consists of Messrs Sinclair, J. Fc3.ver, G. Feaver, McCann, and Pill. The Rev. O. M.
