IN THE AIR.
v - A REPRISAL
GERMAN PRESS WILD. Received June 26, 8.45 p.m. Berne, June 20. The air raid on Karlsruhe caused a panic in the town. Travellers state that the populace were holiday-making. Many people were attending Hagenbeck's menagerie, and bombs that were intended for the railway must accidentally have fallen among the spectators at the circus, killing 120. The German press is indignant at this reprisal for attacks on French towns. IMMELMAN'S DEATH. London, June 25. The Lokal Anzeiger states that Immelman was kilted in an encounter with three Anglo-French aeroplanes. Two Fokkers fell 2000 ft.
