ON THE SEA.
CAPTURE OF THE BRUSSELS. PREVIOUS ATTEMPTS. London, June 25. The steamer Brussels left Rotterdam on Thursday laden with foodstull's. The passengers were mostly Belgian refugees. Six destroyers captured and took her to Zeebrugge. Nine previous attempts had been made to capture the P,nisscls. Her escapes were due to, her superior speed. Since the outbreak of the war torpedo-boats have constantly been hunting for the Harwich boats. Spies are on the alert, giving information of their sailings, cargoes, and passengers. The German fleet at Zeebrugge has been reinforced and includes twentytwo destroyers, several of a new type with three funnels. The defrayers when raiding, are accompanied by reconnoitring seaplanes, mine-layers, and armed trawlers.
