THE BOERS' ATTITUDE. NOT LIKED BY GERMAN. Capetown, May 16. The Bloemfontein Friend publishes a semi-official report found at Moschi, stating that the Boer element in German East Africa is most undesirable-and far removed from European culture. The report also expresses the fear that the Boers .fill not make good Reinschdeutscher and never merge into Germans. It suggests the possibility of the Boers claiming, as Afrikanders, prior rights and privileges in any part of Africa, which would be 'highly prejudicial to German aspirations.
