FIRES.
GLUE WORKS DESTROYED. * By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckand, Yesterday. A fire at Te Papa early this morning practically destroyed the New Zealand Glue Company's buildings, plant and stock, valued at between two and three thousand pounds. The origin of the fire is a mystery. The whole insurance is £475 in the New Zealand Office, the balance being covered by the company's private fund.
