A TIP TO EMPLOYERS.
To the Editor. Sir, —Having followed up the recruiting organisation movements throughout Taranaki and wishing at all timc9 tp be able to assist in any possible manner the good work that is going on in our midst, I would like to suggest to the chairman of the Recruiting Committee that those of ns who have dispensed with all men eligible for active service should be granted a certificate by the Recruiting Board accordingly, which can be pasted in our 'shop windows. Thi9 will show to the buying public of today that these strong, big, burly grocers, drapers, etc., are not necessary to sell ft lady a packet of pins, tie up a pound of tea, a writing pad, etc., etc. Hoping that the public will catch on with this idea and your worthy M.P. and members of the Recruiting Board will take the lead in the Dominion in the manner I have suggested.—l am, etc., EMPLOYER.
