To the Editor. Sir, —Every lime I go down to the Waimato Plains, shareholders iu the Taranaki Oil Co. enquire as to liow things are in the petroleum line, and how shares are selling, etc. One is at a loss to answer several questions. For instance; did the Company get that £9OOO grant promised by the Massey Government? lam sure Ido not know, aiid it is ;ust about time a general meeting of shareholders took place. This company Ims been jail ly well backed by the Taranaki people, but how the company stands nobody seems to know. Are the directors in England running it or arc the local directors the boss mens Verb sap!—l am, etc., D.J.H.
