OBITUARY.
LIEUT. MARTINEAU, V.C. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, April 8. Lieut. 11. R. Martincau, V.C., formerly transport officer of the Otago Infantry Battalion, who returned invalided by the Maheno, died in Dunedin hospital this morning. He won his V.C. at Game Tree in December, 1891), during the Boer war, when be was three times wounded and had his left arm amputated.
