- FIRST MONTH'S RETURNS. The returns of the traffic for tie first month's running of the temporary service in New Plymouth were compiled yesterday, and show that 58,457 passengers were carried, producing a revenue of £307 10s sd. The number of miles run by the cars was 4105, passengers per mile 14, revenue per mile 21.13 d, average revenue per passenger 1.5 d. The details for the four weeks are as follows: Passengers, Revenue. '£ s. d.
