VOLUNTARY WORK. Sydney, Jan. 31. A number of workers in the Government dockyard at Newcastle have volunteered to work on Saturday ufternoou making chaits and stools for the soldiers, provided the Government supplies the materials. The offer has been accepted. ENEMY SHAREHOLDERS BILI Melbourne, Jan. HI. The Legislative Council has passed the Enemy Shareholders Regulations Bill. It will operate immediately. ANTI-GERMAN CRUSADE. Sydney, Jan. 31. The anti-German crusade is spreading, and meetings demand interniuent. The employment of Germans in the Civil Service is used as an excuse for not. enlisting. Captain-Chaplain Wilson, who has returned from France, lecturing in the Town Hall, warned the Government that while lecturing in Queensland he encountered numbers of Germans who were openly disloyal.
