WON BY NEW PLYMOUTH BOY. The following lads qualified for the Alf. Bayly Memorial scholarship, the marks shown being the total scored in the two competitions, athletic and scholastic: — - Webster, G. P. (N.P. High School), 694. Tristram, . H. A. (Stratford D.H. School), s<m. Chamberlain, J. H. (Stratford D.H. School), 570. Pope, R. E. (N.P. High School), 557. Guild, I. M. (N.P. High School), 498. R. J. Thomas, of the Stratford school, scored the highest number of marks in the scholastic competition, but was unfortunate enough to break down after the first event in the athletic competition.
