ON AN AMERICAN RAILWAY. By Cable.—Press Association—Copyright New York, aJn. 24. Seattle reports that a train of the Great Northern Railway was overwhelmed by a snowslide near the summit of Hie Cascades. A number of cars were carried down three hundred feet into a gulch, from which voices were heard. The baggage and sleeper cars remain on the line. Efforts are being made to reach the overwhelmed cars.
