President Carranza and his Cabinet have decided to found a new capita! for Mexico at Dolores Hidalgo, .the geographical centre of the Republic. Old buildings will be razed to build a home for the future President. It will be of the nature of a garden city and partly on the model of Washington. H is proposed :to sell the majo'.ily of the public buildings in Mexico' City with tlio exception of the National Palace and the Government Palace. It is thought that if ten millions sterling is raised it will be sufficient to begin operations.
