PUBLIC WELCOME IN DUNEDIN. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, January 24. His Excellency Monsignor Cerretti, who is visiting' the Dominion as delegate from the Pope, was tendered a public reception and conversazione in the Art Gallery Hall to-night. Addresses of welcome were presented by the bishop and priests, and the laity, and the distinguished visitor replied with a neat speech of thanks to all who had helped to make the proceedings a success. His Excellency will leave on Wednesday for a two days' trip to Queenstown, leaving lJunedin for the north on Saturday.
