IN CONSTANTINOPLE, A REIGN OF TERROR. Salonika, January 24. The Times correspondent says that 50,000 German troops have arrived at Constantinople. They are primarily intended to rivet the yoke under which Turkey is groaning. Enver Pasha governs by terror. There are secret executions daily. One night 21 Turkish officers were, dropped with stones round their necks into the Bosphorus. Ten Turkish and five German officers were recently killed in a single brawl.

MORE TROOPS ARRIVE. EGYPT CAMPAIGN ABANDONED. London, January 24. An Exchange correspondent at Rome says the expedition to Egypt has been abandoned in favor of a campaign in Mesopotamia, with as its objective the Persian Gulf. Tlie arrival of 50,000 troops in Constantinople is confirmed.
