The Taranaki Education Board lias appointed the following pupil-teachers and probationers: — IPupil-teachers.—Lucy May Hawke, Fitzroy School; George Henry Graham, West' End; Irene Maida Hirst, West End; Kathleen Muriel Campbell, Central; Joyce Hammerton Wilson, Central; Alice Mary George, Central; Janet Taiaroa Graham, Waitara. Probationers—Alix Koynton Warren, West End; Evelyn Maud Death, Fitzroy; Frances Isabella McAllister, Stratford; Eileen "Dorothy Leech, Norfolk; Charles H. Stephenson. Ratapiko; Maurice Newton Rogers, Xgaere; Eleanor Airini Pope, Pungarchu; Vernon W. L. Stanton, Central; John Charles Hall, Tariki. General.—Miss Chapman was appointed temporary teacher of the Okoke School, anil' Miss Dempster temporary assistant in the Urenui School. Mr. Liley was appointed custodian of the Technical' School and the Board's office.
