A PUZZLE.
To the Editor. Sir,—Tn the report of Sir lan Hamilton as it appeared in your issue of last Saturday, is the following paragraph, "Partly owing to the enemy's fire and partly owing to want of that "onus' (the quotations art mine), which is tlie second nature of an old campaigner, the advance hung fire." It is a nice puzzle, but I wonder how many of your readers have solved it.—l am, etc.,
