(From Our Own Correspondent.) The annual pic-nic in connection with the Presbyterian Church Sunday School was held in Victoria Park on' Friday, and was favored with glorious weather. There was a large attendance, and a happy time was spent by the youngsters. Advantage was taken to bid farewell to Mrs. Butler, wife of the licv. J. W. Butler, who for some time has been pastor in charge of the Normanby district, and who is now on active service with the forces in Samoa. During he.» residence here Mrs Butler lias been very popular with all classes, especially the young people, and through her instrumentality many pleasant evening have been spent in the Town Hall at entertainments given by children trained by her.
