ANNUAL MEETING. (From Our Own Correspondent.) The annual general meeting was held at Hawera yesterday afternoon, in the secretary's office. There was a fair attendance, and amongst those present were the following directors: . Messrs Goodwin, Corrigan, Hooker, Washer, Page, and Goodson. The balance-sheet was received and adopted, and the chairman referred to the growth of the show and to its popularity as a dairy show which is steadily increasing. The balance-sheet disclosed a \ery healthy state of affairs, the principal receipts for the last show being entry fees £132, space £209, special prizes £SB, doors £53(1, sundries £-12. The total profit from the show was £205, which constitutes a record. The requirements for the future demand an increase in space which can only be met by further additions to the building. This the incoming directors hope to deal with, and a subcommittee has been set up to arrange plans with (heir architect. Messrs Goodwin, Darleymaii, and Corrigan were re-elected directors, and Mr. O'Callaghan was re-elected auditor. At a subsequent meeting of directors, Mr. D. ,J.
