SERBIAN RELIEF.

mi SALVATION ARMY SILVER BAND. In order to raise funds to assist 'the Serbians we are pleased to announce this morning that Adjutant Home of the Salvation -irrny, ha? just completed arrangements for the Auckland City Salvation Army Silver Band to visit New Plymouth, to render a patriotic concert in the Good Templar Hall on New Year's night. This splendid musical combination consists of something like thirty first-class musicians, and we are assured that the people of New Plymouth are in for a musical treat. The band will also visit Hawera, Eltham, Stratford and Inglewood in the interest of the Serbian Relief Funds, and we trust that packed houses will be the result, and that a substantial amount will be raised to help such a deserving cause.
