TOKIO STOCK EXCHANGE. By Cable.—Press Association—Copyright 'fokio, Nov. The Stock Exchange has been suspended for three days, owing to wild gambling fluctuations. An organised ring was rigging the market by spreading sensationalist rumors. TASMANIAN SHALE OIL. Hobart, Dec. 1. Mr. Jensen has announced that he is willing to give the Tasmanian Government a live years' contract for 5000 tons of oil yearly at £3 to £4 per ton n Hie Government will take over the workins of the Latrobe shale deposit. Vie added that in every probability the department will erect an oil tank at Devonport and use its own oil ship, which is building in England. BRISBANE WOOL SALES. Brisbane, Dec. 1. At the wool sales in the new series there was a fair selection, a considerable portion showing the effects of the drought. Competition was keener, being 10 to 20 per cent, increase on the October sales. Greasy eroashieds brought 18y 2 d, greasy merinos 18%<L
