THE DARDANELLES
LOSS OF BRITISH SUBMARINE. SOME OF ME 'CREW PRISONERS. Received Nov. 14, 3.30 p.m. London, Nov. 13. The Admiralty announces that the submarine E2O has not communicated since October 30, and it is feared that she has been sunk. An enemy's wireless message says that three officers and six of the crew are prisoners. Amsterdam, Nov. 13. A Turkish communique states: — Thanks to the ' new measures for the fleet's protection the E2O waß sunk in the Dardanelles on November 5. An enemy's torpedoer ran ashore in the Gulf of Saros on November 10 and sank. We inflicted heavy losses on the enemy at Sedd-el-Bahr, as they were erecting entanglements before their left wing. TWENTY-ONE MISSING. Received Nov. 14, 5.6 p.m. London, Nov. 13j Twenty-one of the E2o*s crew are missing.
