PERSIA.
SITUATION CRAVE. THE GERMAN INFLUENCE. _ Received Nov. 14, 3.30 p.m. Petrograd, Nov. 13. M. Retch, writing in the Novoe Vremya, draws attention to the growing gravity of the situation in Persia, and says that there is an ominous resemblance to the developments in Turkey and Bulgaria. The Germans had already begun the formation of eadies into a future regular army, under the very eye 9of Russian diplomatists. If Persia is unable herself to end the German agitation, Russia and England must take the matter in hand immediately. RUSSIAN TROOPS FOR TEHERAN. TRIBESMEN ACTIVE. Received Nov. 15, 12.5 a.m. London, Nov. 14. Reuter states that Russian reinforcements for Teheran arrived to within forty milea distant of the city a few days ago. They were due at Teheran on Nov. 12. The Russo-Turkish Embassies, which adjoin, have been combined for common defence against a large number of armed tribesmen who are drilling on the grounds.
