THE MIKADO'S CORONATION. TRIBUTE FROM SIR F. GREY. Received Nov. 11, g./io pln London, Nov, 10. The King sent congratulations to the Japanese Ambassador on the occasion of the Mikado's coronation. He also conferred tlie Grand Cross of the Victorian Order on Baron Inonve. At the Coronation luncheon given by the Japanese Ambassador, Sir Edward Grey, in proposing the Emperor's health, said that Japan by her military nnd naval power, her industry, skill, and commerce, had taken an equal plaee among the foremost nations. Her interests as well as those of her Allies .would be scoured by the result of the ttar, and afterwards he trusted that a long peace would be assured.
The Ambassador said he hoped that the King would soon be restored to health. Japan shared in the sorrow and anxiety that his accident had caused throughout the British dominions.
