BRITISH SUBMARINE LOST. SOME O'E THE CREW MADE PRISONERS. Paris, Nov. 4. The Admiralty states that the submarine Turquoise lias been sunk by gunlire in the Sea of Marmora. Twentysix of the crew were taken prisoner. MONEY FOR PRISONERS. London, Nov, 3. Owing to misunderstandings with the Turkish treasury, money for war prisoners in Constantinople should be sent to the Crescent Society.
TO HOLD GALLIPOLI. GERMANS THINK BRITISH WILL .WINTER. Amsterdam, Nov. 4. The Lokal Anzeiger's correspondent in Constantinople states that wellinformed circles are of opinion that the British intend wintering at Gallipoli and do not intend to abandon the peninsula.

The Daily Mail's Berne correspondent telegraphs that Roumanian attaches are much impressed by the German wireless message of the unimportance of happenings at the Dardanelles, and the statement that the enemy is persisting in using hospital ships as transports and hospital tents for military purposes This is a lie. The British, New Zealailders and Australians arc scrupulous in the use. of the red Hag. They have not raised it if a hospital is close to an army corps headquarters, lest the Turks should thinK it is sheltering headquarters.
