IN THE AIR.
RAID ON GHENT. MUCH DAMAGE DONE. V Received Oct. 13, 10.5 p.m. Amsterdam, Oct. 13. The Echo de Beige states that an Allied air raid was made on Ghent on Friday. The planes rained bombs on the German hangars, none of which were left standing, all the sheds and contents being burned. Ten houses were set on fire. Allied aviators again flew over Ghent oA Sunday morning.
