ON THE SEA.
BRITISH. STEAMER SUNK. London, Sept. 11. The British steamer Cornubia has been sunk. The crew were saved. FRENCH STEAMERS SUNK. Paris, Sept. 11. The cargo steamers Ville Mosmagnem and Andes have begn submarined. Sixteen of the former's crew have landed, and the Andes' crew were saved. THE HOUR APPROACHING FOR THE FLEETS TO INTERVENE. Paris, September 12. M. Lanessan, ex-Minister of Marine, in an article in Le Petit iParisien, says the hour is approaching when the fleets of the Quadruple Entente will be able to intervene in the war usefully. The Germans may regret using up their submarines in a criminal and sterile task, foT torpedoes would be specially useful against battleships engaged in a furious combat.
